Everpia was honored with Sustainable and Corporate Governance Award

2023 is the 8th consecutive year that Everpia was praised in the "Top 100 Sustainable Businesses in Vietnam” and the 3rd year ranked among the Top 5 small-cap companies with excellent Corporate Governance. These awards prove Everpia's determination and relentless efforts in sustainable development in both management and production.

The Programme on Benchmarking and Announcing Sustainable Companies in Vietnam (CSI Program) is an annual program held by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. This program is a practical and highly effective initiative that contributes significantly to our country's sustainable development goals.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Tan Cong, VCCI Chairman and Head of the Steering Committee of the CSI 2023 Program, highlighted: 2023 is an extremely difficult year, inflation and global recession have negatively impacted on both the overall economy and businesses. In that challenging context,  the stability and sustainable growth in production and business activities of the enterprises honored at the CSI 2023 Announcement Ceremony are proof of the right choice when they are committed and pioneering sustainability criteria on all three aspects of environment, society, and governance (ESG) for the long-term business strategy of the enterprise. Mr. Pham Tan Cong also emphasized that "Only commitment and action according to sustainable strategies will help businesses overcome difficulties and challenges to develop, prosper and create lasting happiness".

Out of 500 businesses participating in this year's program, Everpia was selected as one of the Top 100 companies that have demonstrated leadership in implementing sustainable development strategies. To earn this recognition, Everpia successfully met all 130 indicator requirements outlined in the CSI 2023, covering various aspects such as: economic efficiency, corporate governance, environment, labor and society. This achievement highlights the Company's dedicated efforts during 3 decades of pursuing responsible production. Remarkably, the 8th anniversary of this prestigious CSI award is also the 8th consecutive year that Everpia achieved this tremendous honor.

In 2023, Everpia reached a significant milestone with the inauguration of our first green building factory in Giang Dien. Up to now, This factory holds distinction as the first bedding factory in Vietnam to receive the EDGE Advanced green certificate and is one of eight projects recognized as a green building by the World Bank. The design and construction of the factory prioritize energy and water conservation, resource optimization, and minimizing environmental impact. This remarkable recognition is a proud achievement for Everpia, reflecting our commitment  to constructing and operating manufacturing facilities in accordance with sustainable and environmentally responsible standards.

In addition, Everpia always places the health and well-being of our workers as the top priority. In collaboration with Nuvilab, a Korean healthcare solution provider, the Company installed AI food scanner devices in the factory's dining room. These devices accurately measure the nutritional value of meals and analyze the eating habits of all employees. This innovative solution enables the adjustment of diets to achieve a balanced nutrition for the workers, thereby ensuring the health of all workers, while effectively reducing the amount of leftovers, contributing to the reduction of the greenhouse effect.

Building on its success of the previous year, Everpia once again excellently maintained its position in the Top 5 listed companies with the Best Corporate Governance in 2023 - Small cap group at the Ceremony of the 2023 Vietnam Listed Companies Awards (VLCA) took place on December 15th.

The 2023 Vietnam Listed Company Awards is an extension of the Vietnam Annual Report Awards, jointly organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, Hanoi Stock Exchange and Vietnam Investment Review. In the Corporate Governance category, the Board of Examiners thoroughly assessed various aspects, such as compliance with governance standards, protection of shareholders' and stakeholders' interests and other essential criteria; and finally, established the ranking results.
