To choose innovation, EVE harvests outstanding results

Everpia JSC (HSX: EVE) is proving its right choice while continuously reporting impressive business performance.
 
According to estimated business performance as at the end of April 2018, Everpia continued its spectacular movement with the sales around 318.2 billion, increased by 53.4% over the first 04 months of 2017, in which bedding business grew by 53.2% thanks to major contribution of bedding Export and B2B, padding rose by 20%, together with the presence of new member – cleaner business. Previously, the Company had disclosed its separate financial statement in Q1/2018 with sales increased by 52%, and especially profit after tax grew sharply by 137%, leading to net profit margin of 8.33%. This is relatively a high rate in comparison with usual practice of the months after Lunar New Year.
 
The Company’s leaders said, this is achievement of the reformation and the decision of leaning in new business lines. Cafef reporter has an interview with the Company’s representative regarding the progress and effectiveness of these new activities.

 
 

Profitability of cleaner business is improved

After taking over from the affiliate Texpia, the cleaner business has well promoted its available advantages and cured off many weaknesses in production management. Sales in the first 04 months reached almost 30 billion, fulfilling nearly 40% of the year target with the net profit margin of 7%, which is a far jump compared to previous negative results.
 
Sign exclusive contract with Kingkoil

On 13th April 2018, Everpia officially signed the 5-year cooperation contract with the no. 1 spring mattress brand in the world – Kingkoil, whereby Everpia will be licensed to produce the spring mattress branded Kingkoil, and be exclusive distributor of this brand in Vietnam. As planned, the Company will directly import several top premium models that require sophisticated technique from Kingkoil’s headquarter in America for the highly luxury hotels, and choose series of popular models which are suitable with most of 4-5 stars hotels in Vietnam for self-production and distribution domestically. This will form a special advantage for EVE in convincing strict hotel customers, who are mostly owned by foreigners or interested in the modern, elegant Western style, and pave the way for EVE’s other bedding items into this customer segment. The expected sales from this new licensed brand is USD 2 million in the remaining half of 2018, and grow steadily by 10-20% year by year.
