Everpia welcomes UEH representatives for a visit and partnership signing
On August 8th, Everpia 's Board of Management had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from the School of Media Design (SMD) - University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), for a discussion and signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the period 2024-2026.
Under the MOU, Everpia pledges to support the development of training programs, create internship opportunities, and nominate highly qualified personnel to participate in teaching. The goal is to enhance the quality of study and practice for UEH students in the field of marketing and communication.
UEH is renowned as a leading university in economics, business, and management training, serving as a pillar in Vietnam 's higher education system. They are proud of their highly qualified faculty with international experience and expertise, strong connections with leading businesses and organizations in Vietnam and abroad, and a diverse student body known for their talent, eagerness to learn, and friendliness.
As a Korean company with over 30 years of presence in Vietnam, Everpia is particularly interested in nurturing a future generation of well-rounded and qualified professionals. This signing ceremony marks a significant step towards bridging the gap between academia and industry, opening up opportunities for UEH students to excel in marketing and communication.
As part of the MOU, students from the School of Media Design (SMD) at UEH visited Everpia 's Giang Dien factory. Mr. Cho Yong Hwan, Deputy General Director, and Mr. Choi Hyung Joon, Director of B2B Southern Branch, led the tour, showcasing the process of creating a complete bedding set, from design and sewing to quality control and packaging.
The hands-on experience at the nearly 3-hectare factory provided students with a practical understanding of the production process and a firsthand look at the seamless integration of human and machine in each step. During a Q&A session, UEH students posed many practical questions to Everpia 's leadership regarding the company 's requirements for communication production projects.
Students enthusiastically participated in the Q&A session.
A quick check-in before leaving the factory.
It is hoped that these practical experiences will serve as valuable assets for the future of UEH students. We wish students of School of Media Design department in particular, and all UEH students in general, would achieve great success in your careers!
